Bird After Bird features seven artists, each in their different ways entranced by the fragility of birds, exploring them in life and death. Each of the artists has spent countless hours researching, watching, waiting for the right moments to observe; thinking about their relationships with their subjects.
A Case for Place launches with a group show which showcases the diversity of approaches to landscape and place-based work by visual artists, poets and composers. In partnership with the creative practice-led research group, Land2, we are also planning to provide a series of one-person shows for early career artists.
Dwelling is the beginning of a residency-based project working with sculptor Anna Gillespie. Dwelling arises from a combination of The Gathering project which included work which depicts a sense of immersion in nature, and The Waiting installation created for the Baltic Triangle in Liverpool.
