Exploring the Wildlife Environments of the Humber

Using my background in journalism and investigative reporting, I investigate the world around me with my trusted camera.  I draw upon my experience as a fine artist to adopt a painterly approach to my photography, using my knowledge of both modern painters and contemporary photographers to inform my artwork.

We will spend the day investigating the skills needed to produce a documentary series of photography by first looking at the work I have created as part of the After Bird… project.  I will take you through the processes of building a well documented and cohesive series of photography and then we will together investigate the wildlife landscapes at Far Ings Wildlife Park, part of the  Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust, and Blacktoft Sands Nature Reserve, part of the RSPB.  This workshop is suitable for amateur photographers of all levels of ability.  We will start the workshop at the Steel Rooms and finish at Far Ings near Barton.
